About the Opportunity
A leading international industrial organisation is seeking an experienced Team Lead, Inventory & Supply Chain Planning to oversee inventory management and logistics planning activities across a complex operational environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring high service levels, strong product availability, and efficient supply chain performance while leading a team of planning professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of inventory and logistics planners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Set clear objectives, monitor team performance, and support continuous professional development.
- Drive inventory management strategies to maintain high product availability while optimising working capital and operational costs.
- Develop, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators relating to inventory, service levels, order fulfilment, and delivery performance.
- Identify supply chain bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth end-to-end operational execution.
- Ensure transparency and reliability across planning and order management processes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on service excellence, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience leading teams within inventory management, supply chain planning, logistics, or materials management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control methodologies, and logistics operations.
- Experience working with ERP, planning, and inventory management systems.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
