Technical Support Manager

Job Summary:
The Technical Support Manager leads a team responsible for providing expert technical assistance to customers and internal stakeholders within the chemical manufacturing sector. This role ensures timely resolution of product-related issues, supports product application and troubleshooting, and collaborates with R&D, sales, and production teams to drive customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of technical support specialists.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues related to chemical products and applications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with R&D and production teams to resolve product quality or performance concerns.
  • Support sales and marketing teams with technical insights and customer presentations.
  • Monitor support metrics and implement strategies to improve service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in technical support or product development within chemical manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, REACH, TSCA).
  • Experience with CRM and support ticketing systems.
