Technical Support Manager
Job Summary:
The Technical Support Manager is responsible for leading the technical service and customer support functions within a chemical manufacturing organization. This role ensures timely resolution of customer inquiries, supports product application and troubleshooting, and collaborates with R&D, sales, and production teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage technical support operations, including customer inquiries, product troubleshooting, and application guidance.
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams (R&D, sales, production).
- Develop and maintain product documentation, technical data sheets, and training materials.
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of product performance issues.
- Support product launches and field trials with technical expertise.
- Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for product or process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all technical communications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of technical support or product development experience in chemical manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly guidance.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing customer relationships.
