We are currently supporting a leading organisation within the logistics and supply chain sector in the search for an experienced Vice President of Operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing multi-site operational performance across a multiple countries within Europe across a complex and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be accountable for driving P&L performance, operational excellence, ensuring service delivery, and leading large operational teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership across multiple operational sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Drive operational performance, cost control, and service excellence across the network
- Lead, develop, and inspire regional leadership teams to deliver high performance
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, supply chain, and senior leadership teams
- Manage operational budgets and deliver against financial targets
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related sector
- Strong track record of managing multi-site operations and large teams
- Demonstrated experience driving operational improvements and delivering measurable results
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
