A very reputable Food industry is continuing to grow and scale and is now looking to hire a New VP Operations to oversee all their US Quality, all Plant Manufacturing & Production, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement. Reporting to the North American Leader, this is a multi-site Strategic Leadership role, with several Director level direct reports, and will lead and control Major projects designed to significantly improve operational efficiencies, EBITDA, day2day sales, and put in place succession planning initiatives for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all US Quality, Multi-Site Plant Manufacturing & Production, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement
  • Drive OPEX (operational excellence) and ensure flawless execution of company products and customer service experience
  • Implement and develop comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with business objectives, including planning and forecasting resources for facilities, equipment, technology, materials and workforce to ensure sufficient manufacturing capacity
  • Diagnose manufacturing to identify opportunities to streamline operations and implement new technology to automate processes.
  • Inspire and maintain culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean principles and utilizing metrics in all areas of production, quality and safety
  • Partner with sales, supply chain and finance to develop a robust S&OP process
  • Build strategic development and succession plans, maintain a robust talent pipeline, anticipating team obstacles, identifying high-potential individuals, and executing plans to address these needs effectively.
  • Manage financial growth through operational efficiencies, exceptional people leadership, and outstanding service delivery

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • 10+yrs Manufacturing Leadership experience in the Food industry
  • Bachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
  • Extensive Multi-Site Plant management experience
  • Significant Accomplishments in Cost Savings
  • Proven experience in Team Turnaround & Leadership
