Warehouse Operations Manager
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier looking to bring on a Warehouse Operations Manager in the Greater Charleston, SC Area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of health and safety.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement practices such as 5S, Kanban, poka-yoke, and visual management.
- Ensure adherence to SAP processes related to material delivery and warehouse operations.
- Manage daily activities of logistics operations staff.
- Coordinate distribution activities including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and line side delivery.
- Collaborate with materials and production planning teams to meet product levels and stock layout plans.
- Maintain accurate warehouse management records.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics to support cost savings and delivery performance.
- Work closely with the quality team on supplier delivery and quality issues.
- Keep management informed of progress and developments.
- Manage training and development plans for logistics operations staff.

- Uphold safety standards and participate in safety initiatives.
- Lead production planning activities with logistics, planning, manufacturing engineering, and quality teams.
- Coordinate resources to meet customer requirements.
- Provide direction and guidance to optimize team performance and meet KPIs.
- Monitor daily activities, report progress, and develop solutions for potential disruptions.
- Adjust activities and tasks to meet customer requirements and company objectives.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices and lead Kaizen events.
- Conduct daily production meetings and monthly operations reviews.
- Develop and implement training plans for associates.
- Facilitate an environment for process improvement suggestions.
- Support the quality management system and maintain customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 5-7 years of logistics management experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
