Global Supply Chain Strategy Project Manager
Role
Lead global supply chain strategy and strategic sourcing initiatives to strengthen supply resilience, optimize supplier performance, and support long-term business growth. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers to develop sourcing strategies, manage supply risks, and drive end-to-end supply chain excellence across critical materials and components.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global strategic sourcing and procurement strategies for critical materials and components.
- Drive end-to-end supply chain visibility, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 supplier mapping and traceability to ensure supply continuity and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key suppliers and strategic partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations for long-term agreements, capacity reservations, allocation management, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks while developing contingency and business continuity plans.
- Conduct supplier market intelligence, sourcing activities, and supplier performance management.
- Monitor industry trends, supplier capacity, and market dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management experience within the semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience managing Tier 2 and Tier 3 supplier visibility, traceability, and risk management.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiations, commercial contracting, and strategic supplier relationship management.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English communication skills with experience conducting business negotiations with international suppliers and partners.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
- Experience in semiconductor packaging & testing, wafer foundry, advanced manufacturing, or electronic components industries is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed organization.
