Operations / Planning Specialist - Automotive Logistics (m/f/d)
The Opportunity
Our client is a leading logistics provider within the automotive sector and is looking for an Operations / Planning Specialist to strengthen its growing team in NRW. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing complex automotive transport and supply chain operations while working closely with customers, carriers, and operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and optimize transport planning activities within automotive supply chains.
- Manage day-to-day transport operations to ensure high service quality and on-time delivery performance.
- Analyze transport networks, capacities, and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support the implementation of new customer projects and logistics solutions.
- Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with customers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure operational excellence.
- Resolve transportation and planning challenges in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Your Profile
- Experience within Automotive Logistics, Transport Planning, Supply Chain Operations, or Freight Management.
- Strong understanding of transport planning, dispatch, and network operations.
- Experience working with OEM, Tier 1, or automotive-focused logistics environments is highly desirable.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational setting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent German and professional English skills.
