Plant Manager

Greater Philadelphia Area | Food Manufacturing

A leading food manufacturer is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee a high-volume production facility in the Greater Philadelphia area. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring world-class performance across safety, quality, production, and operations.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a strategically important facility with significant visibility across the organization and a clear path for future advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Continuous Improvement.
• Drive a strong culture of safety, food quality, and employee engagement.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve OEE, labor efficiency, waste reduction, and throughput.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of direct reports while building a robust leadership pipeline throughout the plant.
• Manage plant financial performance, including labor, maintenance, and operational budgets.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will be considered.
• 8+ years of progressive food manufacturing leadership experience.
• Prior experience leading a food production facility as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or Director of Operations.
• Strong understanding of FDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
• Proven track record improving safety, productivity, quality, and employee retention metrics.
• Experience leading facilities with 200+ employees preferred.
