Summary
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Procurement Associate to support sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management activities. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who enjoys working cross-functionally, driving cost savings, managing supplier relationships, and supporting operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sourcing activities across assigned spending categories to support business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of direct and indirect materials.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive supplier value improvements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align procurement strategies.
- Analyze and maintain spend data to support sourcing and purchasing decisions.
- Conduct market research and assist with supplier identification, evaluation, and selection.
- Support RFP processes, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions.
- Create purchase orders
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.
- Assist with training materials, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Supplier Management, Vendor Management, or a related function preferred.
- Experience working with SAP S/4HANA and strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Experience with AI-powered content creation tools is beneficial.
