Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Data Analyst to support a global supply chain organization by transforming complex data into actionable business insights. This role will focus on developing advanced analytics solutions, building reporting capabilities, and improving visibility across planning, logistics, inventory, and customer operations functions.
The ideal candidate combines strong data visualization expertise, analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business functions and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor critical supply chain KPIs, including service levels, inventory performance, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and logistics costs.
- Partner with Planning, Logistics, Customer Operations, and other business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Develop data models, reporting frameworks, and visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Drive reporting automation and standardization initiatives across the global supply chain organization.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of supply chain reporting and analytics.
- Extract, cleanse, validate, and structure data from ERP and enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility and reporting capabilities.
- Support data governance initiatives, KPI alignment, and data quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Supply chain, operations, logistics, or business analytics experience strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Advanced experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and visualization best practices.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Infor, or similar).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL and database querying.
- Experience with reporting automation and business intelligence tools.
- Understanding of supply chain metrics, KPIs, and operational reporting.
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or similar technologies.
- Ability to write SQL queries for extracting and analyzing business data.
Experience
- 2-5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, operations analytics, or supply chain analytics.
- Experience gathering business requirements and delivering analytical solutions to stakeholders.
- Exposure to supply chain functions such as demand planning, inventory management, logistics, transportation, customer operations, or distribution.
