Singapore Semiconductor - Senior Procurement Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier identification, evaluation, selection, negotiation, contracting, and ongoing performance management.
- Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contractual terms, lead time, capacity, payment terms, and other key commercial conditions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and develop long-term supplier partnerships.
- Monitor market conditions, supply-demand dynamics, cost trends, and potential supply risks to support sourcing and business decisions.
- Drive cost optimization and productivity initiatives while maintaining required standards of quality, delivery, and service.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and other functions to support business requirements.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, long lead times, supplier dependency, and potential supply disruptions.
- Support supplier performance improvement and ensure suppliers meet agreed quality, delivery, cost, and service expectations.
- Develop alternative sourcing and supplier strategies to strengthen supply continuity and overall supply chain resilience.
- Support procurement process improvement, governance, and best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Solid experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management within the semiconductor or related high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience in supplier negotiation, commercial management, and stakeholder management.
- Good understanding of semiconductor supply chain dynamics and supplier ecosystems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and international environment.
- Proven ability to manage strategic suppliers and drive procurement initiatives independently.
