We are seeking a commercially driven Sourcing Specialist who is eager to develop into a future Sourcing Manager while gaining hands-on experience in supplier negotiations, market analysis, contract management, and strategic procurement.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced sourcing leaders, manage key raw material categories, and contribute directly to business performance through cost optimization, supply continuity, and supplier relationship management.

You'll support an annual spend portfolio of approximately $10M-$20M, gaining exposure to global markets, supplier strategy, and cross-functional collaboration across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, and finance.

What You'll Do

  • Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) while mitigating supply risk.
  • Analyze market trends, feedstock movements, and supply-demand dynamics to provide business insights.
  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to implement sourcing strategies.
  • Participate in supplier business reviews and progressively take ownership of supplier relationships and negotiations.
  • Support forecasting, variance analysis, risk management, and raw material qualification activities.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of direct procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of chemical markets, feedstocks, raw materials, and value chains preferred.
  • Experience supporting supplier negotiations, contract management, and category sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills.
