About the Opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of supply chain operations including procurement, supplier management, materials planning, inventory control, and supply chain strategy.
- Manage and develop a team of 6-7 supply chain professionals.
- Drive supplier performance, delivery, quality, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements with suppliers.
- Support new product introductions and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful launches.
- Lead inventory reduction, material flow optimization, and supplier development initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning, forecasting, and overall supply chain performance.
- Develop and implement process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure supplier and supply chain performance.
- Support organizational growth and ongoing systems integration initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior leadership experience with direct management responsibility.
- Strong background in supplier management, strategic sourcing, and procurement.
- Experience sourcing electronic components such as PCBs, resistors, capacitors, diodes, connectors, or similar commodities strongly preferred.
- Experience within aerospace & defense, electronics manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a lean, fast-growing environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- ERP experience required.
