Safety Manager

We are partnered with a leading manufacturer in the consumer goods and appliance sector is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety and compliance initiatives across multiple facilities. This role is responsible for fostering a safe and healthy workplace by identifying risks, implementing safety programs, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The Safety Manager will also support security-related functions and play a key role in promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The Safety Manager will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring workplace conditions to identify potential health and safety risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conducting investigations into safety incidents and implementing preventive measures.
  • Leading emergency preparedness efforts, including evacuation drills and policy updates.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to address workplace safety concerns, including violence prevention strategies.
  • Developing and delivering safety training programs for employees and management.
  • Coordinating with internal and external trainers to ensure compliance with safety training requirements.
  • Managing injury response protocols, including First Aid/CPR training and maintaining OSHA and incident logs.
  • Overseeing safety orientation for new hires and ongoing training in areas such as forklift operation, hazard communication, PPE, lockout/tagout, and respiratory protection.
  • Conducting regular safety audits and inspections, and ensuring timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Supporting facility security operations, including contractor coordination, ID badge management, and surveillance review.
  • Staying current with industry best practices and regulatory changes through professional development and networking.


The Safety Manager will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, or equivalent are preferred.
