Maintenance Superintendent - 2nd Shift

Location: Milford, DE
Shift: Monday-Friday, 4 PM-2 AM (Saturdays as needed)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to oversee maintenance operations for our Milford, DE facility. This role is critical to ensuring smooth plant operations and equipment reliability on the second shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct maintenance work plans and procedures
  • Recommend maintenance and operating procedures for new facilities
  • Develop layout designs for new equipment and process changes
  • Prepare estimates for equipment, materials, and labor
  • Supervise repairs and ensure compliance with USDA regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain and update preventive maintenance programs using CMMS
  • Identify and resolve chronic maintenance issues to improve efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of layout design, drafting, project management, CAD, ergonomic design, and USDA requirements

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to varying temperatures (28°F-100°F) and humidity
  • Noise levels ranging from 50-110 db
  • Must use protective and safety equipment as required
