Continuous Improvement Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team and drive our operational excellence initiatives.
Job Summary: The Continuous Improvement Manager will be responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement projects across the organization. This role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly in aluminum extrusion, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Develop and implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Conduct process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvement plans.
- Train and mentor employees on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Monitor and report on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for continuous improvement processes and procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aluminum extrusion.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing continuous improvement projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and continuous improvement software/tools.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferred.
