EHS Manager
We are partnered with a leading global manufacturer in the industrial and environmental solutions sector that is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to support operations across its Missouri and Georgia locations. This organization is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, operational excellence, and a people-first culture, with a strong international footprint.
The EHS Manager will play a critical role in driving environmental, health, and safety performance across the sites. This position will lead compliance efforts, foster a proactive safety culture, and implement programs that align with corporate sustainability and regulatory standards. The role requires frequent travel between the Columbia and Atlanta facilities.
The EHS Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading site compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Driving a zero-incident culture through employee engagement, training, and leadership collaboration.
- Managing injury case reporting, incident investigations, and OSHA 300 Log ownership.
- Facilitating hazard assessments and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
- Leading internal audits and ensuring timely closure of findings.
- Supporting ISO 14001/45001 certification efforts and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety controls, inspections, and preventative maintenance are in place.
The EHS Manager will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field.
- 5-10+ years of experience managing EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 30%
