EHS Manager

A well-established manufacturing company in Green Bay, WI is seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives. The organization is committed to operational excellence, employee well-being, and environmental stewardship.
Position Summary:
The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive EHS programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and manage all required reporting.
- Deliver EHS training programs for employees and leadership.
- Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air/water permitting, and sustainability efforts.
- Foster a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Wisconsin DNR regulations.
- Proven leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are a plus.
