Electrical and InstrumentationTechnician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our maintenance team at a leading paper and packaging manufacturing facility in Cloquet, Minnesota. This position plays a key role in supporting the mill's operations through hands-on electrical and instrumentation work, contributing to both daily maintenance and capital project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on:
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Medium and low voltage control circuits
- AC and DC variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Process instrumentation for pressure, flow, temperature, level, and consistency
- Support electrical systems across the facility
- Work collaboratively in a team environment with rotating shifts
Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of recent experience in an industrial or military electrical/instrumentation setting
- Strong background in electrical systems and process control instrumentation
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shift work
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting wage of $40.00-$47.00 per hour, with progression opportunities up to $50.00 per hour
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(k)
- Paid time off: 2 to 6 weeks of vacation based on prior experience
- 10 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays annually
