A well-established global manufacturing company with over 55 years of experience and a workforce of 47,000+ employees worldwide is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their automation and digital integration team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving PLC systems, smart factory solutions, and IT/OT convergence in a dynamic and innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and implement networks, PLC systems, and virtual machines
- Program PLC/control systems, visualizations, databases, and interfaces
- Develop and manage applications such as mixing systems, gravimetric controls, labeling, and goods receipt systems
- Manage databases, interfaces, and data acquisition systems
- Integrate various PLC systems with external platforms
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and system optimization
- Lead automation projects and coordinate external programmers
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile:
- Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Several years of hands-on experience in automation, maintenance, and systems integration
- Strong technical knowledge in electrical systems, mechanical engineering, and IT
- Independent, proactive work style with a focus on continuous learning
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work weekends or be on-call as needed
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Fluent in both German and English
