A global, multi-billion-dollar ingredient manufacturer is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead operational excellence at its Byesville, Ohio facility. This company is a major supplier to the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, known for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. The Engineering Manager will play a key role in driving efficiency, managing capital and maintenance projects, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
Responsibilities
- Ensure engineering practices meet standards for safety, sanitation, and ergonomics.
- Maintain system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Manage maintenance budgets and oversee asset lifecycle planning.
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Analyze and resolve recurring downtime and inefficiencies.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to reduce disruptions.
- Maintain inventory of essential replacement parts.
- Implement mechanical and electrical solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering and maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in food & beverage.
- Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of energy, steam, air, refrigeration, and water systems.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Experience with ISO 50001 Energy Management System (preferred).
- Must be able to commute to Byesville, OH and travel up to 10%.
- Salary range: $107,757-$181,563 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package.
