Location: Hybrid - Based near Alphen aan den Rijn

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established client in the logistics technology sector. They specialise in providing advanced intralogistics solutions, including automation systems, warehouse equipment, and digital tools that streamline supply chain operations. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded professional with a background in IT or tech sales who's looking to apply their skills in a logistics-focused environment.

About the Role

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll play a key role in identifying and developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. You'll collaborate closely with field-based Account Managers and internal teams across Sales Operations, Finance, Leasing, and After-Sales to deliver tailored solutions that address each client's operational challenges.

The role is based at the client's head office near Alphen aan den Rijn, with flexibility to work remotely part of the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with prospective and existing clients via phone and digital channels
  • Understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions from a broad portfolio of logistics and automation technologies
  • Manage and grow your own set of accounts
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns and the company website
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals
  • Maintain accurate records and activity logs in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a commercial or sales-driven role, ideally within IT, SaaS, or tech-related industries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset
  • HBO-level education or equivalent thinking level
  • Interest in logistics, automation, or industrial technology is a strong advantage
  • Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
