Job Title: Maintenance Manager - Corrugated Packaging
Location: Bradenton, Florida
Position Summary
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance activities within the Bradenton facility to ensure optimal equipment performance, reliability, and safety. This role will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for corrugated packaging machinery and related systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive leadership experience in maintenance operations and a strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Supervision
- Manage and develop a team of maintenance supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability.
- Maintenance Strategy
- Implement and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
- Equipment Reliability
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of corrugated packaging machinery and auxiliary systems.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Budget & Planning
- Develop and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital projects.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams for equipment upgrades and installations.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 10 years of corrugated packaging industry experience required.
- Education
- 2-year technical degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or related field.
- Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and implement maintenance best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Project management experience for equipment installations and upgrades.
