Overview
A leading manufacturer is seeking a results-driven Senior Maintenance Manager to lead a 60-person maintenance team at its rubber roofing plant. This role is responsible for improving equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and OEE through TPM and RCM practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary maintenance team.
- Manage MRO budget with a focus on cost and uptime.
- Implement TPM to foster proactive maintenance and operator ownership.
- Apply RCM to prioritize assets and develop preventive strategies.
- Improve KPIs: MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, maintenance cost/unit, and planned vs. unplanned maintenance.
- Drive OEE improvements in collaboration with operations and engineering.
- Optimize CMMS for data-driven decision-making.
- Support capital projects and equipment commissioning.
- Build a strong talent pipeline and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial); Master's preferred.
- 10+ years in maintenance leadership within high-volume manufacturing (rubber, chemical, automotive, etc.).
- Proven success with TPM, RCM, and KPI/OEE improvements.
- Experience with CMMS, condition monitoring, and union environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
Preferred
- Six Sigma or Lean certification.
- CMMS implementation experience (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo).
- Background in polymer, rubber, or continuous process industries.
