About This Role
We are a multi branch landscaping and services company with approximately $15M in annual revenue seeking an Operations Manager / Director of Operations to serve as the primary operational leader and #2 to ownership. This role oversees multiple locations and is designed for a hands on operator who can bring structure, accountability, and financial discipline to the business. The focus is on operational excellence, cost control, team leadership, and building scalable systems in a founder led environment.
Job Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or a related services industry
* 3+ years in an operations or people leadership role
* Experience leading large teams across multiple crews or locations
* Strong financial acumen with hands on budget, labor, and cost management experience
* Working knowledge of horticultural practices, equipment, and safety standards
* Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Business, Landscape Management, or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with Aspire experience preferred
Job Expectations
* Lead and develop account managers, operations managers, and field crews
* Manage scheduling, routing, workflows, and daily service execution
* Serve as a senior point of contact for key client relationships
* Identify opportunities to expand services and improve retention
* Oversee division budgets, labor, materials, and equipment utilization
* Drive operational efficiency and margin improvement
* Enforce quality standards and safety protocols through regular site visits
