Role Overview
Our client, a global leader in packaging, is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Site Manager to lead their production site. This role is ideal for an operationally strong leader with deep plastics manufacturing expertise and a passion for driving performance in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure overall plant performance and operational excellence
- Lead Production, Technical, Logistics, and Quality teams to meet business targets
- Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System
- Develop and upskill the workforce to support high engagement and performance
- Promote clear communication and continuous improvement across the site
- Represent the company to customers, partners, and local authorities
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes
- Monitor key KPIs (material yield, conformity rate, productivity, 5S, etc.)
- Drive cost‑reduction and efficiency initiatives through WCM, energy savings, and process optimisation
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years as Plant Manager or Production Manager in the plastics industry (FMCG or Automotive preferred)
- Strong expertise in EBM, SBM and/or Injection Moulding (required)
- Solid understanding of WCM, HSE, Quality standards, and manufacturing KPIs
- Experience in supply chain and production planning
- Engineering degree or similar technical background
- Proven leadership with a track record of performance improvement
- Fluency in French and English
