Plant Manager
Position Summary
An automotive manufacturer seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all operational functions, including Production, Maintenance, Quality, HR, Engineering, Warehousing, and Procurement. This role is responsible for executing strategic plans, improving processes, and ensuring long-term success through strong leadership, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet performance targets, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently, focusing on cost reduction, waste elimination, and competitive pricing.
- Oversee ERP system (Infor) optimization, enforce internal controls, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and QMS standards.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and employee development through training, performance reviews, and mentorship.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, manage escalations, and ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
- Analyze financial reports, support executive decision-making, and contribute to long-term growth strategies.
- Strengthen technology infrastructure, protect business assets, and ensure data security across operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations Management; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in plant or operations management, ideally within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP systems, and ISO/QMS implementation.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a track record of driving results and process excellence.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving operational challenges.
