Process Engineer SME
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for soybean processing and solvent extraction operations.
- Lead troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and process optimization efforts.
- Support safety, quality, yield, throughput, and cost improvement initiatives.
- Develop project scopes, equipment specifications, and engineering design requirements.
- Support capital projects, startups, commissioning, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain engineering documentation including PFDs, P&IDs, and process standards.
- Coach plant teams on process engineering best practices and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of process engineering experience within soybean processing, oilseed extraction, edible oils, or similar continuous manufacturing environments.
- Experience with process optimization, project development, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, plant operations, and industrial systems.
- PE, PMP, or similar certifications are preferred.
