The Process Engineering Manager will be responsible for…

  • Owning daytoday process performance across production lines, including throughput, quality, waste reduction, and equipment reliability.
  • Leading process optimization initiatives, using rootcause analysis, SPC, Six Sigma methods, and data analytics to drive measurable efficiency gains.
  • Developing and standardizing operating procedures, process parameters, and run conditions for tissue, nonwovens, absorbent systems, or other CPG manufacturing operations.
  • Managing capital and continuousimprovement projects, including scoping, budgeting, vendor coordination, equipment commissioning, and qualification.
  • Supporting new product introductions by translating R&D or formulation requirements into manufacturable processes; leading scaleup trials and validation runs.
  • Providing technical oversight to operators and technicians, ensuring consistency in daily execution, troubleshooting, and process control.
  • Partnering with Maintenance and Reliability teams to reduce downtime, improve asset health, and implement predictive/preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Monitoring process KPIs, reviewing trend data, and leading corrective actions when deviations occur.
  • Championing safety and quality excellence, ensuring processes meet regulatory, company, and customer standards while reducing operational risk.
  • Coordinating crossfunctional problem-solving, bringing together Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve recurring issues and unlock productivity improvements.

The Process Engineering Manager should have the following qualifications…

  • B.S. in Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (CPG, paper, nonwovens, food & beverage, chemicals, pharma, or similar).
  • Handson experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement in a highvolume production setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, such as converting lines, mixers, reactors, fillers, packaging systems, or webhandling equipment.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (SPC, Minitab, Power BI, or similar) and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into clear guidance for operators and leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing shortterm issue resolution with longterm strategic improvements.
  • Comfort navigating ERP, maintenance systems, or digital workinstructions platforms.
