Location: Calhoun, GA (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a growing supply chain team. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, issuing and monitoring purchase orders, maintaining supplier data, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials. The position offers strong visibility within the organization and the opportunity to directly influence supplier performance, inventory availability, and service levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and track purchase orders through completion and delivery.
  • Partner with supply chain planning teams to determine order quantities and delivery requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring accountability for pricing, delivery performance, lead times, minimum order quantities, and inventory requirements.
  • Manage supplier invoicing processes and resolve pricing or documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain supplier master data, including lead times, lot sizes, and minimum order quantities.
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks related to shortages, quality concerns, capacity constraints, and supplier delays.
  • Lead supplier business reviews and collaborate cross-functionally with planning, quality, product management, and product development teams.
  • Support procurement operations and purchasing activities as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and influence stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

  • APICS/CSCP, CPP, or related certifications.
  • Project management experience.
  • Six Sigma or process improvement experience.
  • ERP systems experience, including CAMS/AS400.
  • Business intelligence and reporting tool experience.
