Production Manager
Summary
The Production Manager will oversee daily activities within a food manufacturing facility, specifically focusing on the transformation of raw materials into packaged consumer goods. This role ensures that production runs smoothly, safely, and in accordance with regulatory standards. The manager will lead a team across three shifts in a 24-hour operation, with a strong emphasis on process optimization, product quality, and sanitation. Key Responsibilities
- Drive production efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and support execution of production schedules.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, communicating effectively with relevant teams.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Manage staffing levels and ensure appropriate workforce allocation.
- Stay current with industry technologies and best practices.
- Lead and engage teams in process improvement initiatives.
- Respond promptly to equipment downtime and maintain production momentum.

- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Track and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support operators with performance data and insights.
- Investigate and address root causes of performance gaps.
- Manage attendance records and coordinate shift coverage.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing operations.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean and statistical process control.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and processing technologies.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
