Production Supervisor
An industry leading food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor. In this role, you'll lead daily operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the production floor. This role is critical in driving continuous improvement, maintaining compliance, and building a high-performing team.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, and labor hours to meet or exceed targets.
- Oversee the entire production process-product flow, equipment performance, SOP development, and quality standards.
- Partner with maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are met.
- Investigate and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
- Lead and coach team members, conduct training, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, OSHA, SQF, and audit requirements, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Promote a safe work environment through regular inspections and adherence to company safety policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or 3-5 years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of FDA/OSHA regulations, GMP standards, and lean principles.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with automated processes preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to change.
