Quality Engineer
Position Overview
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet rigorous aerospace standards and customer expectations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, resolve quality issues, and support compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support internal and external audits (AS9100, ISO 9001, customer audits).
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Review and approve documentation including inspection plans, FAI reports, and control plans.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
- Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in data analysis and quality software (e.g., Minitab, QMS platforms).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
- Experience with aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with GD&T and technical drawings.
