Sales Manager (Georgia)

Salary base comp: 130-160k plus commission

Company Summary: Our client is the largest privately held packaging company in the US and is based out of North Carolina. They are a manufacturer of corrugated packaging, point of purchase displays, graphic packaging and merchandising products. They offer design, engineering, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution packaging solutions as well. The team is looking for a Sales Manager for the corrugated division in the Georgia territory. The position will focus on managing a small sales team as well as building new business relationships while nurturing and expanding existing accounts.

The Sales Manager has these key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet individual and company goals
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with both new prospects and existing clients
  • Set and pursue sales targets within potential client organizations
  • Maintain consistent prospecting efforts and follow-up activities
  • Provide market insights and feedback on industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and expectations exceeded

The Sales Manager should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in corrugated packaging
  • Management experience is preferred
  • Proven success in a sales role with strong outreach and cold calling capabilities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients and prospects
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work across departments and project teams
