About the Role
We're looking for a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing for wire harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
This role partners closely with engineering and operations to ensure reliable supply, strong supplier performance, and competitive cost structures across critical connectivity components.
What You'll Do
- Own sourcing strategy for wire harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies
- Manage and develop global supplier relationships
- Lead negotiations, contracts, and cost reduction initiatives
- Drive supplier performance across delivery, quality, and cost
- Support new product introductions (NPI) with aligned sourcing
- Resolve supplier escalations and ensure continuity of supply
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and planning teams
- Monitor market trends across the connectivity and cable ecosystem
What You Bring
5+ years in sourcing or supplier management within manufacturing
Experience with:
- Wire harnesses
- Connectors
- Cable assemblies
- Proven success in supplier negotiations and cost savings
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply base for connectivity products
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive outcomes
Nice to Have
- Experience with OEMs, contract manufacturers, or cable/harness suppliers
- ERP or sourcing system experience
- CPSM, CSCP, or similar certifications
