Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Senior Associate Customer Quality Engineer to support quality assurance and customer engagement in our client's high-purity chemical manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key liaison between the company and customers, ensuring product quality, managing customer inquiries, and driving continuous improvement based on customer feedback and performance data. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-purity or specialty chemicals and a strong foundation in quality systems and customer communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, audits, and technical support
Investigate customer complaints and lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Collaborate with production, quality control, and R&D to ensure products meet customer specifications
Analyze quality data and customer feedback to identify trends and drive improvement initiatives
Support documentation and reporting requirements, including quality agreements and product change notifications
Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 or other relevant quality system certifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or customer quality roles in a chemical or high-purity manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of quality systems, analytical methods, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with customer audits, CAPA processes, and quality metrics reporting
