Senior Associate - Procurement Consulting (remote)
We are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Senior Associate - Procurement Consulting to join one of our key clients within the consulting sector. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on strategic procurement transformation initiatives across multiple industries. You will support projects focused on strategic sourcing, cost optimisation, supplier management, and process improvement, delivering measurable value to client organisations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support procurement consulting engagements from initial assessment through implementation.
- Analyse client procurement data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Conduct supplier market research, develop RFP/RFI documentation, perform bid analysis, and assist in contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to assess procurement processes and design improvement strategies.
- Provide expertise in category management, spend analysis, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Contribute to the development of procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations and reports for client leadership and internal teams.
- Mentor junior consultants and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain consulting.
- Strong understanding of procurement tools, practices, and market trends.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with sourcing platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Prior consulting experience is essential.
- Fluency in German or French strongly preferred.
