About the Role
We're looking for a seasoned procurement professional to lead our client's metals category strategy. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of sourcing innovation-developing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring competitive pricing for raw materials that keep our operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and global suppliers to deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions in a fast-moving market.
Your Impact
- Define and execute sourcing strategies for metal raw materials.
- Track global market trends and anticipate risks to inform decisions.
- Drive supplier selection, performance monitoring, and contract negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
- Champion innovation through supplier engagement and technology-sharing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 10+ years in category management, ideally metals.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English (German a plus); SAP experience preferred.
- Strategic thinker with resilience and a growth mindset.
