On behalf of a major international company in the FMCG industry, we are recruiting for a:
Senior Manufacturing Manager
Tasks
- Lead and manage a variety of projects related to different production units. This includes making strategic decisions on new investments and modifications to existing production lines to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Plan and draw production schedule to ensure production targets are met timely and efficiently.
- Manage the production budget and make sure the company is hitting its target production volumes.
- Implement and champion continuous improvement and lean management initiatives. Drive performance improvements in each production unit through innovative solutions and best practices.
- Support the management of new product launches by confirming industrial feasibility, setting up production lines, and managing processes to ensure smooth and successful introductions to the market.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain, to align on goals and deliverables. Influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to foster a culture of excellence and continuousPlan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard.
Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions to address deviations in productivity, quality, and safety.
- Lead and manage a team of supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and R&D to ensure seamless operations.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, materials, machinery) to reduce waste and improve cost-efficiency.
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and implement best practices such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for senior management.
- Support new product introductions and scale-up activities in coordination with relevant departments.
- Identify training needs and support the development of team members to enhance skill levels and performance. improvement.
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university with STEM major
- At least 10 years working experience in a production environment
- Experience in multinational FMCG companies
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and influencing stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to grow (promotions) within large organizations
- (plus) Familiarity with smart automation and IoT
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin
