Senior Production Manager
Position Summary:
The Senior Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the facility, ensuring that safety, quality, and production targets are consistently met. This leadership role involves managing both hourly and salaried staff and coordinating all plant functions, including safety compliance, manufacturing, maintenance, inventory, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Senior Production Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Supervise plant operations to maintain efficient workflows, meet production timelines, and uphold quality and inventory standards.
- Ensure all departments operate safely and comply with environmental standards; implement programs to protect employees, maintain facilities, and uphold cleanliness.
- Optimize use of equipment, personnel, and materials to control costs, applying team-based management and adherence to labor policies.
- Oversee production, planning and scheduling to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and process reliability; collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Engineering teams.
- Conduct employee evaluations and support professional development through training aligned with business goals.
Senior Production Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Engineering or Business with technical experience, preferred.
- 7+ years in manufacturing leadership.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office.
- Proven success in safety, team development, and operational improvements.
