Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Sensor Engineer with expertise in biometric and physiological sensing technologies. In this role, you will help architect, prototype, and validate the next generation of sensing systems for upcoming hardware platforms. You'll collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and product teams to bring new sensing technologies from concept through integration and into production.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and development of next‑generation biometric and environmental sensing systems.
- Build functional prototypes encompassing electrical, mechanical, firmware, and sensor components.
- Conduct data analysis and early‑stage algorithm development to validate feasibility and optimize performance.
- Develop and execute sensor development plans from concept through production readiness for systems operating continuously and autonomously at scale.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to transition prototypes into production‑level designs.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience developing sensing systems, with proven innovation and end‑to‑end execution.
- Strong system‑level mindset and hands‑on experience with EE/ME prototyping (e.g., PCBA development, rapid mechanical prototyping).
- Proficiency in software for signal processing, sensor data analysis, and embedded system prototyping.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
