Sr. Project Electrical Engineer
Are you an experienced electrical engineer with a passion for leading complex capital projects across North America? We're seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to serve as a divisional expert in electrical controls, partnering with manufacturing facilities in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical and controls engineering for capital projects involving low-voltage systems (575VAC and below), ensuring alignment with design principles and safety standards.
- Manage external engineering resources and oversee the development of electrical design packages, scope documents, budgets, and commissioning plans.
- Drive efficiency and automation through thoughtful engineering design and execution.
- Support a variety of project types including greenfield developments, brownfield upgrades, equipment rebuilds, and automation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership on electrical improvements aimed at enhancing product quality, equipment uptime, and line utilization.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and engineering best practices throughout all phases of project execution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in electrical controls, offering consultation and troubleshooting support to plant personnel.
- Stay current with emerging technologies to continuously improve equipment design and operational efficiency.
