We are currently partnering with a leading international terminal operator to hire a Business Development Manager to support their commercial growth across complex, large-scale supply chain operations within the ports, bulk logistics, and container tank (ISO tank) sector.


This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a client-facing, solution-led environment, with a strong focus on building relationships and unlocking new business opportunities within port-centric supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by identifying and developing new commercial opportunities across the supply chain
  • Build and manage strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for both new and existing customers
  • Understand customer challenges and translate them into tailored, value-added logistics solutions
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (operations, commercial) to deliver high-quality service offerings
  • Support the execution of go-to-market and commercial strategies
  • Analyse market trends across bulk, tank container, and industrial logistics markets to identify growth opportunities


Candidate Profile

  • 3-5 years' experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within logistics, supply chain, or a related field
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of building relationships and driving revenue
  • Knowledge or exposure to ports, terminals, bulk logistics, or ISO tank/container flows is a strong advantage
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and influence decision-making
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-driven
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
