Business Systems Analyst
A leading consumer products manufacturer is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support enterprise applications, enhance business processes, and drive technology-enabled improvements across multiple departments. This role blends technical development, systems support, and cross-functional collaboration. Role Overview:
- Support and enhance core business applications by developing and maintaining front-end tools, dashboards, and system components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology needs and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Assist with development operations activities, including system updates, deployments, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to resolve issues and implement new functionality.
- Provide direct end-user support, training, and issue resolution across multiple departments.
- Research emerging technology trends and evaluate opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Assist with planning and coordinating system upgrades, new application releases, and process improvements.
- Contribute to project planning across all phases of the systems development lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met.
- Maintain documentation, workflows, and system configuration updates as part of ongoing support and enhancement efforts.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with databases and reporting tools, including SQL (preferably T‑SQL).
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Understanding of ERP systems and core business processes (experience with manufacturing ERP environments preferred).
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience supporting business applications, systems analysis, or software development.
- Experience with database concepts (Azure SQL or similar preferred).
- Exposure to ERP platforms (prior experience with manufacturing-focused systems is a plus).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with cross-functional stakeholders.
