Corporate Facilities Manager
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence decisions across teams.
- Oversee all building systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety, security, and janitorial services.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, fire, roofing, and other critical systems.
- Prepare and support annual operating and capital budgets.
- Obtain bids, negotiate pricing, select contractors, and track project performance.
- Create purchase orders, approve invoices, and manage vendor relationships.
- Maintain facility cleanliness and overall building standards.
- Partner with leadership to identify risks, address issues, and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide consistent updates through status reports and meetings while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Assist with acquisitions, decommissions, and branch consolidations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 7-10 years of facility management experience.
- Preferred experience with LEED and ENERGY STAR.
- Strong knowledge of construction, maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budgeting, and cost‑benefit analysis.
- Ability to determine when contractor support is required based on time and cost.
