About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Design Quality Director to lead and elevate product quality standards across our home appliance portfolio. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every product meets the highest levels of design integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction, while driving innovation and compliance with global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement design quality strategies across all product lines.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure design validation and compliance from concept to production.
- Establish and monitor quality KPIs, ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to embed quality into the design process.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and user experience.
- Manage risk assessments and root cause analysis for design-related issues.
- Represent the company in quality audits and certification processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in design quality or product development within home appliances or consumer electronics.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, compliance frameworks, and quality tools (FMEA, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
