We are supporting a leader in the Manufacturing space on their search for a Telecommunications Sales Director with direct experience selling cabinets, enclosures, and telecom hardware infrastructure into Tier 1 wireless carriers across Canada. This role is designed for a senior, carrier-facing sales leader who can drive national programs, influence network architecture decisions, and scale revenue across large carrier organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the Tier 1 carrier sales book in Canada, with full accountability for revenue, margin, and long-term account strategy
  • Lead strategic, relationship-driven sales with national wireless carriers across engineering, network planning, sourcing, and deployment teams
  • Drive carrier-approved hardware programs, network standardization initiatives, and large-scale deployment awards
  • Serve as the primary commercial interface for assigned Tier 1 carriers, managing opportunities from early design influence through national rollout
  • Influence specifications and approvals to position cabinet and enclosure solutions within carrier standards and preferred vendor lists (AVL)
  • Support high-volume, multi-market deployment programs tied to 5G densification, fiber expansion, and network modernization
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, product management, and operations to align hardware solutions with carrier technical and environmental requirements
  • Build and manage a disciplined pipeline and forecast aligned to carrier budgets, deployment plans, and infrastructure roadmaps
  • Travel frequently to carrier offices across Canada, including network planning and deployment discussions

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of direct sales experience supporting Tier 1 wireless carriers in Canada
  • Proven track record selling cabinets, enclosures, racks, or similar physical infrastructure hardware
  • Demonstrated experience navigating multi-stakeholder buying processes
  • Strong understanding of carrier network infrastructure environments (central office, OSP, edge)
  • Experience influencing product specifications and vendor approvals within carrier ecosystems
  • Familiarity with carrier procurement cycles, sourcing models, and long sales cycles
  • Experience supporting national or multi-market rollout programs tied to network infrastructure deployments
  • Highly self-directed, strategic mindset with the ability to build and scale hardware-focused carrier relationships from design influence to deployment
