Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 + Bonus Eligibility
Company Summary:
A global materials manufacturing organization is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site-level EHS programs at a key production facility. This role reports directly to the Plant Director and is responsible for driving safety performance, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives across the operation.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of a plant's EHS function, influence culture, and lead impactful safety and sustainability initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The EHS Manager responsibilities include:
* Lead all environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs for the facility
* Drive a proactive, behavior-based safety culture focused on risk identification and prevention
* Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
* Manage permitting, regulatory reporting, inspections, and audit activities
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
* Conduct risk assessments and drive hazard mitigation and continuous improvement efforts
* Partner closely with plant leadership and operations to improve safety performance and accountability
* Develop and deliver EHS training programs and ensure workforce engagement and competency
* Manage workers' compensation programs in coordination with HR
* Track and analyze EHS metrics to identify trends and establish improvement initiatives
* Lead emergency preparedness and response planning for the site
* Champion employee involvement through safety committees and engagement programs
* Lead sustainability initiatives and track environmental performance metrics
The EHS Manager should have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including leadership responsibility
* Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance requirements
* Proven track record of improving safety performance and reducing incidents
* Experience leading audits, inspections, and compliance programs
* CSP, REM, or Six Sigma certification preferred
* Strong incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities
* Experience building and influencing safety culture at the plant level
* Strong communication, leadership, and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
* Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, leadership, and corporate stakeholders
