Global E2E Planner (Supply and Demand Planners)

Role Overview
A leading global FMCG client is seeking a Supply / Demand Planner to join their new Barcelona-based planning hub. This role sits at the heart of end-to-end planning, balancing demand signals with supply capabilities to ensure optimal service levels, inventory health, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced consumer environment.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Logistics, contributing to a robust S&OP/IBP process while supporting continuous improvement across forecasting and planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market insights, promotions, and sales input
  • Translate demand plans into feasible supply plans, aligning with production, procurement, and capacity constraints
  • Manage inventory levels to optimise availability while minimising obsolescence and excess stock
  • Actively participate in S&OP / IBP cycles, preparing insights, scenarios, and recommendations
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and KPIs, driving corrective actions where required
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, customer, and supply teams to manage risks and opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes, tools, and data quality

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated planning within FMCG or consumer goods
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and planning tools (e.g. SAP, APO, IBP, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of S&OP / IBP processes and cross-functional working
  • Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable challenging assumptions and influencing decisions
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is highly desirable (Catalan is a plus)
